Welder / Fabricator
Full-time · Shop · Huron, SD$24–$34/hr DOE + overtime + quarterly shop bonus
MIG/TIG welding on steel and aluminum frames, tanks and running gear. Read prints, fit and finish to DOT spec.
What you'll do
- MIG/TIG weld structural steel and aluminum to print and AWS D1.1 standards
- Fit up frames, crossmembers, tank shells and running gear assemblies
- Read blueprints, lay out material and hold tight tolerances
- Perform weld repairs and pass visual/bend/NDT inspections
- Keep weld logs and maintain a safe, clean workstation
What you bring
- 3+ years production MIG/TIG welding (heavy fabrication preferred)
- Ability to pass a 3G plate weld test in shop
- Blueprint reading and fabrication math
- Own basic hand tools; we provide welding gear and PPE
- Reliable attendance Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm + OT
Trailer & Truck Body Technician
Full-time · Shop · Huron, SD$22–$32/hr DOE + overtime + quarterly shop bonus
Assemble, repair and inspect vacuum, dump and utility trailers plus truck bodies. Hydraulics, wiring and brake experience a plus.
What you'll do
- Assemble new trailers and truck bodies from chassis to final QC
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and brake systems
- Install axles, suspensions, landing gear, lighting and ABS
- Complete DOT inspections and document all work
- Support customer warranty and field-service calls
What you bring
- 2+ years trailer, truck or heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Working knowledge of 12V wiring, air brakes and hydraulics
- Own basic tool set; specialty tools provided
- Valid driver's license; CDL a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop
Painter / Blaster
Full-time · Shop · Huron, SD$20–$28/hr DOE + overtime + quarterly shop bonus
Prep, blast and apply industrial coatings. Attention to mil thickness, masking and final QC finish.
What you'll do
- Abrasive blast steel to SSPC spec prior to coating
- Mix and apply primers, epoxy and polyurethane topcoats
- Mask components and control mil thickness with wet/dry gauges
- Inspect finish quality and touch up before delivery
- Maintain booth, blast room and spray equipment
What you bring
- 2+ years industrial painting or blasting experience
- Experience with plural-component or airless spray systems preferred
- Comfortable in respirator, hood and full PPE
- Detail-oriented — finish quality sells our equipment
Shop Helper / Material Handler
Full-time · Shop · Huron, SD$16–$20/hr DOE + overtime + paid training path to welder
Cut, grind, stage material and keep the shop organized. Great entry point with training toward fitter or welder roles.
What you'll do
- Cut, grind, bevel and prep material for fabrication crews
- Stage steel, parts and consumables at workstations
- Operate saw, shear and forklift (we certify you)
- Keep bays clean, safe and organized
- Train alongside senior fitters and welders
What you bring
- No experience required — attitude and reliability matter most
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for full shifts
- Basic tape measure and math skills
- Steel-toe boots required; all other PPE provided
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm + OT
CDL Driver / Delivery
Full-time · Road · Home most nights$24–$30/hr + per-diem on overnight runs
Deliver finished trailers and truck bodies to customers across South Dakota and neighboring states. Flatbed and heavy-haul experience preferred.
What you'll do
- Deliver finished trailers and truck bodies across VA, MD, DC, WV and PA
- Load, secure and tarp equipment to DOT standard
- Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and e-logs
- Walk customers through equipment operation on delivery
- Coordinate schedules with dispatch and production
What you bring
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (3 years)
- 2+ years flatbed, step-deck or heavy-haul experience
- Medical card current; able to pass DOT physical
- Professional customer-facing manner on delivery sites
Sales / Estimator
Full-time · Office · Huron, SD$55k–$75k base + commission on closed builds
Talk with customers, spec builds, prepare quotes and follow jobs from estimate through delivery. Shop-floor knowledge is a big advantage.
What you'll do
- Quote custom trailers, truck bodies and repair work
- Spec builds with customers and translate them to shop drawings
- Manage jobs from estimate through production and delivery
- Follow up inbound leads from the website, phone and walk-ins
- Build long-term relationships with fleet and oilfield customers
What you bring
- 2+ years sales or estimating in manufacturing, trucking or equipment
- Ability to read prints and understand fabrication costs
- Strong phone and email communication skills
- CRM and basic spreadsheet proficiency
- Shop-floor or welding background a big advantage
